Classic Mini Clutch Kit 3 Pc Diaphragm Type BORG AND BECK (Pre Verto **) GCK100MS HK8854
This is the diaphragm type clutch which uses the long clutch arm up to the introduction of the short clutch arm Verto type.
Kit contains diaphragm, plate and release bearing.
This is genuine AP type.
Aftermarket clutch kit by Borg & Beck but not from the original tooling made and kept under licence by AP the lifelong manufacturer
The original AP tooling has been scrapped.
The clutch covers are good for any engine type in the range but please note the advice below:
This part is Colour Coded : Blue
This means that the kit is good for Classic Mini , 1100 and 1300 Engines that are rated up to 70ft/lbs torque
This would be good for your normal drivers cars of most types
If you need something more competitive please ask.
**(You have a pre-verto clutch if the clutch slave cylinder sitting on top of the flywheel housing is mounted horizontally. If it tips down towards a stubby clutch arm, you have a verto clutch.)
