Every so often.....something Very Special pops into our Car Park... and this was no exception.
In this case the Jaguar D Type has very special family connections and the current owner was very proud to show it to us. 
Created by Errol Tempero in the South Island the car was purchased by the father of the current owner and raced quite succesfully in New Zealand.
    Subsequent to that the car went to Australia where it was again raced by its new Owner.
Two Years ago, out of the blue, the son of the original owner received call from Australia offering to sell the car back to the Family in New Zealand.
The car has now returned and has been restored to its original condition but retains the patina from those long ago racing days in New Zealand.
We were thrilled to see in at our premises, now resplendent with its local compliance and registration and ready for a new life back home!!
