This pump is rated for an out put pressure of 26.0Kpa which translates to 3.77psi (pounds per square inch)

The pump has a manual priming lever.

Note: the installation of a new mechanical petrol pump can sometimes have unintended consequences when the Needle Valve and Float in your carburettor are old or worn. This can result in petrol being pumped out of the safety aperture at the top of the carburettor bowl.

We urge you to investigate the Needle Valves etc on your carburettors when changing the pump. 

Note: This pump is NOT correct for the 1500cc Engine that was fitted to the later model Triumph Spitfire Mk4 and the Triumph Spitfire 1500
