Lucas 43D, 45D 59D Rotor Arm Moulded Not Riveted By Powermax

The Powermax R2 Moulded Rotor Arm is the perfect upgrade for your Lucas 43D, 43D4, 45D or 45D4  59D Distributor.

This uprated and improved moulded rotor arm replaces original Lucas part number DRB104 or DRB104CG.

Fitted to a huge array of vehicles, the Lucas 45D Distributor is one of the most widely used units across the classic car spectrum. It came with a vacuum (as a 45D) or as a non vac (43D).

These distributors are found in many of the cars we know and love from the 1970s and 80s, including names like Allegro, Maxi, Metro, Mini, Land Rover, Esprit, MGB, Midget, Marina, Avenger, Dolomite, Spitfire and many more.

Riveted vs Moulded

Traditional rotor arms feature a moulded body with a metal conductor riveted to the body. Over time this rivet can come loose, so we developed the Powermax moulded rotor arm. Instead of a fragile rivet, the conductor and body are moulded together. This gives better strength and much more durability.

A rotor arm that utilises Powermax Technology will give better performance and more reliable, accurate spark control at high rpm. Designed without a rivet to ensure durability and with an internal steel spring clip for an extra secure fit,
