Notes regarding the Longer Fixed Bolt on this unit:

We have had conflicting feedback regarding the bolt lengths required for the RAC100.

Some customers require the longer length bolts, so the decision was made to supply the unit with the longer bolt.

This does however have a longer shank length and in some fitments the shank protrudes through the gearbox casing dependant on spacer plate thickness etc.

In such cases, the stud can either be threaded further using a die and shortened or the bracket of the unit can be removed and the stud drifted out and replaced with the shorter OE bolt, the plate then refitted with the bolt sat loosely in the bracket, then tightened in the normal method.
